Hi all, I have now uploaded the institution logos I got from John to this folder: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0BzrSPi8wkHZ8WTBFWUM5dGJtbEU Please upload yours directly to this folder (drag and drop files from the original folder to the folder space or folder icon), or e-mail them to me, if this does not work. I hope we can fix the remaining outstanding issues soon and close the content so I can give to GBIF Communications for formatting and copy editing. Once done, you would have a chance to go through the formatted text and a slide doc (it helps to see the familiar text in a new packaging) before is published online and the GBIF news channels start advertising it. We need to remember to send it to all survey respondents. There is a chance to silently fix minor bugs also after the online publication, but I hope we won't use this opportunity too much. To ease the life for readers, I suggest the appendices will come in reverse order - this way we can make the main, narrative report plus table (currently appendix B) come together, and then a slide doc will be a separate file. Draft final report for input by 25 October

Dear John, Shyama, Varos, Greg, Quentin and Dmitry I have created a new folder called FINAL REPORT DRAFTS on the G Drive: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_uojZ1Ob6CzcE1TOF9tMEhlT1U In this folder are two documents for your inputs and editing: 1. A draft of the final report 2. A draft of Appendix B (Dmitry will provide Appendix A as the survey details) A few points: 1. I have collated, rationalised and inserted the recommendation tables into the word document of the draft report. As a result these will look a bit different to the versions you last saw and edited (I hope I have captured every ones' latest tables correctly!). I have inserted names next to each of these sections where I think your input will be valuable (this could be a different section to the one you originally worked on). 2. Throughout the doc I have identified places where input is needed from each of you. However please do read the document through and provide text and edits wherever you would like to. 3. This round is essentially for completing content. Don't worry about formatting. Please do add key references that clearly support some of the main points made. 4. If you make changes to the figs please don't do this in the document - edit the raw version and upload the revision into this new folder. Please send Shyama, Dmitry and Greg any suggested fig edits directly. *I am sure that you are all back to being focussed on your primary responsibilities, so thank you very much for bearing with us to get the report done.* If you could complete the first round of review by the 24th that would be great. Morning all Many thanks for your e-mails with text and clarification of final sets of recommendations. I've placed a powerpoint on taxonomic uncertainty from Arthur Chapman on the G drive, and will also include the report on the data quality discussion when they send it through. By the way I consulted for CABI way back around 2003 on invasive species of phytosanitary importance, so they have been working on IAS especially in Kenya for many years since their Africa office is in Nairobi.
