[Bid-community] Deadline approaching: iDigBio symposium, Advances in Digitization Worldwide, SPHNC 2017

Just a quick note to alert you that iDigBio is hosting two symposia at next year's SPNHC (Society for Preservation of Natural History Collection) meeting in Denver (https://www.idigbio.org/content/spnhc-2017-call-abstracts).

One of the symposia is titled "Advances in Digitization Worldwide", and iDigBio would be pleased to see the BID community to engage with SPNHC and submit abstracts for consideration for this or other symposia.

There are a number of travel grants available (http://www.spnhc2017denver.org/travel-grants/), but note: the deadline for both travel grants and abstracts is January 13, 2017.
