Dear IPT Users,

The IPT currently supports running on a server with Java 6.

As you may be aware, Java 7 reached its end of life in April 2015. Consequently, the GBIF development team is now in the process of upgrading its projects to use Java 8 instead.

If you’re still using Java 6 to run your IPT, can you please let us know? Don’t worry if you are, because the imminent release of version 2.3 will still support Java 6.
