New IPT version: 2.4.0.
Dear IPT users,
A new version of the IPT has been released, version 2.4.0.
This version includes security updates from Struts and Jackson (code libraries the IPT uses). For this reason, all users should upgrade.
It also includes support for DataCite's new API for issuing DOIs, since the old API has been switched off.

Dear colleagues,
after IPT upgrade to 2.4.0 I was unable to log in with my administrator login and password. However all datasets were available from IPT frontpage. After downgrade to 2.3.4 my administrator login and password were recognized by system. How to transfer user accounts from 2.3.4 version to 2.4.0?

Dear Ivan,
Starting (I think) in 2.3.5, there is an issue where sometimes it's necessary to try and log in twice — after trying to log in at the top of the page, the IPT reports that the login fails, and it is then possible to log in using the larger form in the main part of the page.
Are you unable to log in on both places?

Dear Matthew,
Thank you very much for your message. The problem was solved. I suppose that the problem was in some cookies left in my browser (Firefox) history. I've reinstall 2.4.0 version and and successfully login to my IPT installation from another browser (Google Chrome). I sucessfully logged in IPT using my usual browser after history cleaning in it.
