Only a few social icons were supported, I've added Facebook and Youtube and they now show on the website. Please create an issuehttps://github.com/gbif/hosted-portals/issues/new on the hosted portal repo if you need more.

Another way to add those links could be to simply add them as plain links in /_data/footer.yml. E.g.

- name: Social links: - text: Facebook href: http://example.com new_window: true - text: Youtube href: http://example.com new_window: true

The base them has twitter and github as default social media, we try to add facebook and youtube following the default formula:

twitter_username: sibcolombia facebook_username: SibColombia github_username: SiBColombia youtube_username: sibcolombia

But it doesn't work, It keeps showing only twitter and github.

How can we add facebook and youtube or any other relevant social media links?
