Hi Dmitry and colleagues
The 8th July is Friday and 9th Saturday. I can be available from lunch time on Saturday 9th (the GEOBON meeting is still active on the 8th). It is important that we don't rush our first Task Group meeting, so perhaps we can extend the meeting into the Monday if there are at least 3 of us that can stay that long? I plan to stay in Europe until the end of the week (~15th), so am flexible to including Monday in the schedule.
I have added a google sheet for inserting the contacts that we will eventually each approach personally with requests for input. Please go ahead and add your information. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Byyg7vYAqPoWCdkI_wU6PLsycQw6nq4J4ZSx...
I have also started to draft a work plan and have inserted a few specific places for your input. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1PEvOpbkNJq-ISpd63fkhEOB_o_wqLJBs5edaAfMx...
Thanks and best wishes Melodie

Hello all,
Apologies for the delay in tidying up the *minutes*, will do asap after solving some health issues in the family. You are welcome to find and edit sections concerning yourself as well as the general ones in the minutes doc, appreciate your helping hand: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1cr6JrS4bdreAoDcOHP2gk68Ax3E27vqNTOv1oImM...
One *urgent* thing is to fix dates and place for the July meeting, as some of us need to book tickets for other meetings back to back to ours. Please let me and others know if there is any problem with the dates *9 July 9:00 FRI – 11 July 17:00 SUN in Leipzig**. *Melodie might need to join us later on the 9th, and leaving on 11 evening should be no problem . No answer by 19 April Monday morning (in Denmark) = you are ok with the dates, you would be able to proceed with ticket booking. The next step after fixing the dates would be sending the travel authorization form to GBIF as described in http://www.gbif.org/sites/default/files/documents/GBIFtravelguidelines.pdf.
Many thanks.
Best regards,
Dmitry Schigel

Hello Task Group,
*SKYPE CALL*
Six out of seven people voted for the fist Skype teleconference to take place on 11 April at 19:00-21:00 Auckland = 17:00-19:00 Melbourne = 09:00-11:00 Moscow = 08:00-10:00 Brussels, Cape Town, Copenhagen = 02:00-04:00 Washington DC. Gregory, I realize that this is really crazy time and perhaps suboptimal day for you. We can maybe Skype without you first time, and then you would go through the minutes we prepare, and I will clarify in a separate 1:1 call. Please let us know about your availability for the meeting in person meeting on 9-11 July in N Europe.
*AGENDA*
I will extend the draft agenda here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1cr6JrS4bdreAoDcOHP2gk68Ax3E27vqNTOv1oImM...
Please feel free to add topics and questions that we need to discuss during the call.
*SKYPE NAMES*
Please make sure that your information here is accurate, there are *two Skype names missing*. Please also revise TravellingFrom and TravellingTo airports for the July meeting dates.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15rebOHbb0IwjyVoKSP57JPSOikjoskXWUXVY.... I will start the group call from the GBIF.S account. It helps if you join the call using high speed internet connection from a quiet space.
*GOOGLE DRIVE*
All working documents of the group will be stored in this Google Drive folder, to which you have editing access rights.

Final versions and important documents will be securely archived by GBIF.
