It was a really nice and productive Skype call yesterday.

I am copying BONUS that we did not discuss and homework also below. I am not sending you the Doodle poll yet because of the option of meeting in connection to TDWG as explained below.

DS checked the timeline in
ToRs and we are
expected to produce a short intermediate report in July 2016. In addition to here-we-are-we-started-to-work, we could include the section structure and some early recommendation that would take shape after Leipzig. This can be very short, 3-4 pages,
and it is likely to be included to the document package that is distributed before the GBIF Governing Board meeting, which will take place in October in Brazila.

Following Quentin’s observation that it is unfortunate that TDWG takes place after the final report is delivered, there might be an opportunity to postpone
deadline and to have our second meeting after
TDWG in Costa Rica. DS and QG will be there, so maybe this is actually a better timed and cheaper opportunity? DS need to talk to Donald before sending you the Doodle poll for the II meeting dates.

Before
Leipzig, 9 July - we all test answer and correct the survey. GBIF S prepares the navigation tips as part of the Leipzig agenda document, started by Melodie.

Ongoing - add your topics, ideas, section to the
report draft, the texts do not
need to be perfect and final, it’s a working document. Use and contribute to collection of
resource documents and
references.
