New calls for proposals planned in 2020 for sub-Saharan Africa, wider Caribbean and Pacific
Dear BID colleagues,
GBIF has just announced this morning that, thanks to additional funding from the European Union, we will extend the Biodiversity Information for Development or BID programme to 2023, with new calls for proposals currently planned for June and September 2020.
The upcoming calls will again target the mobilization and use of data for sustainable development in sub-Saharan Africa, wider Caribbean and the Pacific, this time in four grant categories:
* Regional biodiversity data mobilization grants * National biodiversity data mobilization grants * Institution-level biodiversity data mobilization grants * Data-use grants
