Hello Boikutso from Botswana and others on the list.
I am writing from Maun, Botswana where we are working on a small GBIF BID project to rescue hunting records and data from the Botswana Wildlife Management Association. The main work is taking place at the University of Botswana's Okavango Research Institute, with the library as the repository for the materials, and data entered into the GBIF's databases.
I am the PI for the project, working with my colleagues Olebogeng Suwe, Anastacia Makati, Mosepele Boiditswe, Mogae Makonyela, Ben Thupe, Dr Lucas Rutina, Keta Mosepele, Gosego Moreri, Masego Dhliwayo, Wame Mpinang, and Debbie Peake. We are looking forward to learning more about biodiversity data management with all of you.

Hi everybody,My name is Jaona RANAIVO, I have been working at the Centre national de Recherches sur l'Environnement and I live in Antananarivo as a botanist. Madagascar have been member to GBIF since 2003 and I am the current node manager. Madagascar is part of the regional BID project entitled? ?Capacity building and biodiversity data mobilization for conservation, sustainable use, and decision making in Africa and Mdagascar? led by Pr.
