AFAIK, what the route http://data.gbif.org/ws/rest/density/list used to provide is gone, right? If so, I imagine that it was too expensive computationally? If not, might it come back? Some users requesting that kind of data.

Hi Scott,
You are correct it is gone, but it is useful to know it has started to be missed.
We expect similar functionality to be back within around 6 months or so (i.e. the ability to do some faceted results from search - this is a facet on a grid cell)
