Rod,
it is publishingOrganizationKey in the v1 API now, not owning.
That causes the authorization to fail and hence a 403 not a bad request.

This all looks correct.
Can you share the URL or curl command and JSON you are trying to post?

Hi,

I’m trying to create a dataset on GBIF and am getting HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden I’m authenticating with username and password, and using my owningOrganizationKey and installationKey keys, which worked when I last did this using v0.9 of the API

Given that my username and password haven’t changed, and the organisation key hasn’t changed (as far as I’m aware, http://www.gbif.org/publisher/92f51af1-e917-49bc-a8ed-014ed3a77bec still works), I’m left wondering whether the *secret* installationKey has changed?

Regards

Rod
