I tried Google public DNS, but that doesn't work.  I am checking with my ISP to see if they are blocking gbif.org. Is it possible that my IP address is being blocked by you?  I can access gbif.org and APIs on data on my phone, and via a VPN through UC Berkeley.

Hi.

This is odd. I guess all gbif urls fail for me on my home network,  but do work on a VPN via uc berkeley. Sorry for assuming too much !

Hi Scott,

API looks fine to me (e.g. http://api.gbif.org/v1/occurrence/1210055096) - what problem are you seeing?

Hi,

I realize it's the holidays, so API down time seems fine, but is there a date that the API is planned to be back up?

Thanks, Scott
